Difference between a Legend and Cult Hero

But in this instance, the difference is the point that is trying to be made. Somebody can be a hero for 15 minutes, a day, maybe a month, but eventually over time, heroes are forgotten and lost in society, while legends did something so extraordinary that they will never be forgotten.

I think it's personal opinion.

I like Cahill, he has been heroic at times, but to me NOT a legend.

Dunc to me, was a legend. But I understand how some say he is NOT one.

*Claps Hands* First and only sensible comment (apart from me own) that I've read since joining this site. Cahill didn't do anything particularly extraordinary to warrant him being labled a legend. Words such as genius,legend,world class etc are thrown around willy-nilly these days and it really gets me blood boiling!!!
