Diogo Dalot

If we are planning on playing Rodriguez on the right side, we will need a right back who can really overlap - Kenny doesn't seem equipped to do that and Coleman's best days appear to be behind him - Dalot hasn't totally convinced at United, but going forward he looks really good. He wouldn't be my 1st choice - Emerson from Betis/Barca looks a proper star in the making, but Dalot on loan for a year if we let Kenny go out on loan would seem to make a lot of sense.

Loaning Kenny out again would be pointless. He's 23 now, if he's not ready to play for us now he never will be. Either play him or sell him. Preferably the latter.

I agree, but will it be possible to sell him? If so, cash in. If not, loan him out again, make sure he's playing 1st team football and we help him keep his value up for when we try to sell him next summer.

Again, if we can't sell him now we won't be able to next year either. He'll only have one year left on his deal then, and will have reached an age where he's no longer seen as likely to improve. I wouldn't entertain the thought of loaning him again, it would be a poor piece of business I think. It's one thing not being able to find buyers for the players we're lumbered with on big contracts, but if we can't even raise money selling players like Kenny we need to have a serious look at what's going wrong.
