Diogo Dalot

Utd have spent a lot of money and will want to bring some back in.
Dalot will be unlikely to force his way onto their team and it could be a good signing for us, good experience already and a good age... but, it will be for more than 10m.

Again, if we can't sell him now we won't be able to next year either. He'll only have one year left on his deal then, and will have reached an age where he's no longer seen as likely to improve. I wouldn't entertain the thought of loaning him again, it would be a poor piece of business I think. It's one thing not being able to find buyers for the players we're lumbered with on big contracts, but if we can't even raise money selling players like Kenny we need to have a serious look at what's going wrong.

Surely there's an argument that the market this summer is going to be more difficult to sell players in? West Ham were linked with Kenny, for instance but it's accepted that they have zero money to spend until they sell people. Schalke have admitted they can't afford to buy him etc etc.

We should be looking to sell him, but if we get to deadline day and there are no takers, I'd loan him out again. Better than him sitting on the bench here.
