Distin - Leaving ? Now at Bournemouth

Sounds like someone who loved the club and felt betrayed when wanting to move in the twilight of his career for games...

In any case he can help bring mings on at bournemouth and enjoy his time on the coast...can see him being a liability for them unless they defend very deep.

As if you'd be arsed having pot shots at the club after retiring on the millions of quid in wages he banked? He was denied a handful of games for West Ham. Boo hoo.

Classy stuff.

Think it will show itself in no time as he takes the Bournemouth dressing room down.

No mistake. Mark my words.

Mark them well !!!!!!!

Distin trolling:

Ex-Everton defender Sylvain Distin recently went through a in-depth interview with tabloid 'The Sun', and his replies to some of their questions were nothing short of hilarious! Sample these: Question: Which club finished third in the Premier League last season? Distin: "You need to ask that to someone else ... I have no idea and it doesn't matter." Q: What is the name of Stoke City's stadium. D: "Don't know. I'm not going to pretend to have football knowledge. It's not about who plays where, it changes nothing to me." Q: How many titles has Jose Mourinho won? D: "Five?" Q: Where does Manuel Pellegrini come from? D: "Is it Italy? Yes. Somewhere in Italy." Q: How much did Angel Di Maria cost? D: "About £2.50?" Q: Name a Watford player. D: "I don't know.

In Distin's defense we got to watch player after player get chance after chance while he was planted on the bench.

allegation of drug usage, or they found out he could not head the ball those were the rumours at the time - ?????
I hadn't heard about the drug allegation, but he had a long career in Serie A before and after his time at Everton, and I don't know how you
can survive in a major league if you can't head the ball.

We lost 4-0 but I thought he was one of our better players. Single handedly at fault for four goals?
I'd say two at least, but he did make Baros look a player, when he wasn't.It's a while ago now,but I remember Martyn looking really uncharacteristically nervous that night every time a ball was crossed into the box, as Koldrop looked to be in all the wrong positions.

Bloke is chatting as if we were his wife and one day out of the blue we told him we wanted a divorce and gave no reason. We dumped you because you're old and crap mate, that's the top and bottom of it. Used to like him but he's seriously starting to bug me now with his "woe is me" tales.
He has every right to be royally peeved at Alcaraz getting starts ahead of him, because he was. is and probably always will be better than Alcaraz. Who is Alcaraz playing for this season?

And he's not saying much in that article other than "I didn't enjoy the last couple of months because I wasn't playing." Not exactly sticking the knife in - not even disrespectful actually.

Very good player over the period of his contract, a nightmare early last season when his legs fell off due to old age. Should have retired, I feel sorry for Bournemouth.
