they took their time - hes done this since day one. when will all his career threatening tackles get picked up on, not motd- they hide them. wonder why this has come up now
 
I was gonna put a post about this when I clocked the end of that Arsenal RS game but thought that we didnt need a Stevie G diving thread....

But eff me! He goes over without ANY touch whatsoever looking for a freekick....if it wasnt for I think Kyut getting fouled straight after, he'd have got **** all and should've been booked.

The dive he did in the derby when he hit the bar from teh free kick made me sick. Truely shocking.

Must be weird to dive, because every instinct tells you to remain on your feet and beat your man, so to dive as consistently as Gerrard he must either be trained to do it (which is a possibility having a Spanish manager) or he must go into a dribble knowing he aims to dive. Bit strange.

Not weird if your a cheating peanut head with a constant itchy ear every time you get interviewed.
 
Finally saw the highlights (lowlights) of the [Poor language removed] vs. Arsenal match and saw where Gerrard dove right in front of the ref.

After I saw it, I just couldn't help but feel utterly embarrassed for Gerrard.

It was that bad.
 

After a match I would rather the person doing the interviews ask the player why they dived. They wouldn't all be so keen to get their faces on the telly.

Just cant stand diving, really gets on my tits, its why I always switch Spanish footie off all the time.
 
it looks like a simple process to leave a comment at the end of that article as well.
a lot of the r/s that i know say that they find it embarrassing when he does it, good to see he's being exposed now though, they'll move on to his tackles quite quickly hopefully, and drag his mate into it as well.

To be fair though, and this may well cause a few murmurs from the back, Arteta and Pienaar do their very best to go down also.

But there clever with it, they use the players leg and make sure that contact is made by the way they manipulate the situation.

Gerrard though swan dives at every opportunity.
