if a player is off the pitch changing boots he don't need to be waved on, same thing surely ?

It doesn't matter what the reason is for leaving the pitch mate, whether it's to change footy boots or not, you still have to wait till the ref tells you to come back on.

The linesman can't wave a player back on, only the ref can do it.

yeah but I was under the impression that a player only needed to be waved on because he been told to go off after treatment

Doesn't matter mate, once you leave the field of play for whatever reason you have to wait till the ref says it's okay to come back on.

We are talking about a liner who caused a rumpus in the first half Sidibe was pointing at him when the ref booked him and listening to Harry maguire to get our goal unnecessary VAR'd.....here....

Doesn’t matter, spunking any money on a wank player is pointless. We all sit here moaning we need to try sell Gylfi etc. and it would just be the same with this guy.

I do agree with you there. But there are trade offs this summer. I would to prefer to buy fewer better quality players and cover the cracks with academy players and loans rather than spreading the budget too thin.

Especially when you run on straight into an open space for the attack to go to you.

The yellow card for it was absolutely ridiculous.
