I agree. Think he's average. I don't think he's as bad as some are making out.

We could do better but for what we need elsewhere in the team he might provide good value.

You're talking as if he's utter pony - he's average but we aint signing 7x world class £30-40 million players in the summer.

We need 1-2 CM's, 1x RW, 1x CB & another CF thats without rumours of a back up GK and LW.

Simply put the money may not be there hence why I think Brands will sign him permanently.

Personally I wouldn't mind signjng him for 1 season providing we sign quality in all of the above positions then the season after move Coleman on and have Sidibe 2nd choice to a new top class RB coming in.

Im not saying he's a problem, I just don't understand why you want us to buy a proven awful player for £13m.

He is not our player so do not add him to the list of players we need to get shut of. He is not good enough if we have any ambition to improve.

How many games have the combination of Schneiderlin, Delph, Davies & Siggurdsson cost us in midfield?

Or our limp options out wide?

Or Pickfords shocking form?

Or Keane/Mina moments of switching off?

I want better than Sidibe but unless we have found a magical way to avoid FFP I think there are way too many other areas to upgrade in this summer.

Unless Brands finds a complete bargain for the same sort of fee I think he'll be signed.
