Well you included Doherty as someone he's similar to or even better than so you clearly don't watch much footie.

See even at the very beginning of this thread you were wrong. "Fine" is not good enough for the PL:

I thought he looked alright.

On the positive side he didn't give the ball away much (Other than trying some ambitious through balls), was always happy to receive a pass and looked up for it.

His positioning worries me slightly though I must admit.

He was fine.

He’s got zero positional awareness. I don’t care what he might have won or national teams he gets called up for as I’ve seen tons of his Monaco games and he gets targeted every time.

So much vault potential in here already if we ever see him in a league game.

Well that's clearly not true is it?

Matt Doherty means absolutely nothing to me. He's fine. Meh.

Whats with the attitude anyway? Very unlike you, are you feeling alright?

Doherty and Baldock are super underrated. I mean it's all a moot point we aint shelling out any money for this lad and our search for a decent RB continues.

Never have been to me. Saying that I "obviously don't watch much football" because I happen to disagree with you is a bit rubbish. I usually at least try to debate stuff rather than just digging my heels in over stuff.

Baldock has done well this season. Can he (or indeed his whole team) continue this way or will they fall off again?

The only way Sidibe signs is as a squad man.

I would have gone all in on Elseid Hysaj myself but seeing as his agent came out last year saying that Ancelotti ruined him as a player its probably a bit of a no goer...

I just find defendants of Sidibe to blow my mind that's all.

Honestly I'd rather have you playing right-back next season than any of the right-backs at the club (Kenny is not the answer).

It just annoyed (too strong a word probably..) me that you asked me a question, I took the time to give you an answer to the list you gave and you just dismissed it as "I don't watch enough football" I get that with some people but I like to think I am at least debate worthy!

You don't want another centre back playing full back believe me. I might have done a job pre lockdown but I look (and feel) like I have ate the rest of the back four since then.

Kenny is probably the best choice of the three purely because he is not the finished article yet. I don't hate Sidibe (or Coleman for that matter) but we know what we are getting with them now, they wont be changing in the future, Kenny still has the chance to improve I suppose.

Oh I can. The only ones I'd sway on are the Newcastle lads, Montoya, Femenia and probs Joel Ward but least they all remember what position they're playing. Rather start Zabaleta and he's older than my grandad.
You’d rather have a 35 year old Zabaleta? I don’t particularly rate him but he’s better than a fair few.
I live in Norwich so seen a fair bit of their games. Aarons, for example, has good potential but Sidibe is better atm

I dont see Aarons being targeted every game though...Sidibe is the weaklink and the opposition know that its 50/50 whether he will be in the right position or not.

Hes had some brilliant games and others have been disasters. We need a more consistent player there...either Aarons to grow into the role or a top level player.

Yeah I agree he is, but Aarons was just an example. Can’t say Sidibe is worse than all of the other starting right backs in the league though. Not seen Kenny play in a while so not sure how good he is

I don’t like players that make a lot of mistakes that lead to goals let alone performances so poor that they can make your team lose the game. This blokes had a few of those. I think that signing him as first choice right back would be very lazy on Brands and Ancelotti’s part and as full backs are such a huge part of the game we should be looking for someone young who can become something special.

Hate to calm a good row but it depends a lot on blend, there are not too many prem players who are out of their depth. Osman is the last I remember
