If we get European football we will be playing 2 games a week. More than enough games to share between him and Kenny. I like him going forward he is not a very good defender but neither is TAA and the RS are doing OK. In modern football a FBs attacking qualities are more important than the defending. If they do both well its rare.

Still in disbelief at this. I cannot get my head around why he did that. In the 88th minute. The thing is Mason was staring right at it, 100% saw it and thankfully judged it to be a bit soft from Carroll. But for me he was completely within his right to give it and we couldn't have had any complaints.

i think we are just used to having those types given against us mate, it went to VAR who also said no pen, the big monster Carroll who bullies people in the back post shouldn't be going down from the weight of the hand you put on someones back when you say "can i just get past there please fella"

I think a pen would have been harsh and common sense says it's not a pen, but if I saw it given against us or indeed anyone else outside a handful of clubs, I wouldn't bat an eyelid. It's the fact Sidibe wasn't even looking at the ball either (if I remember correctly) that particularly got me.

Had another decent game though, I'm not looking to have a go at Sidibe.
 
Interesting if Sidibe holds down his further afield position throughout the season.

Would free up the RB slot for the potential return of Kenny and leave Coleman as backup.
