Do we need a total reset?

Leeds
Sunderland
Forest
Ipswich
Man City
As far back as wolves free fall.
Only man city recovered, eventually, with millions spent.
Throw Newcastle in that bracket.

You could also add :-
Notts Forest
Sheff Wed
Derby

With the finances as they are we are more like Leeds, Sunderland and Derby more than the others. It would be decades before Everton got finances in order to get back up.

Given the abysmal state of our club I’ve come to the difficult decision that the only way out of this mess is to accept our fate, accept relegation, get rid of Moshiri and the rest of our useless board and start again.

Obviously we will be left with a half finished stadium but we could get @tommye to give us a quote on finishing it. Might take a while as he’s only got one thumb but hey beggars can’t be choosers.

Thoughts and fume welcome
Going down doesn`t automatically mean Moshiri goes, who is going to want to pay as much as Moshiri wants for a Championship club? More likely to move on if we are a Premier League club.

If we go down we are pretty certain to keep Moshiri forever.

That’s what I thought. Look at Burnley. Squad overhaul with new attitude, fight, passion and believe.

Relegation is a financial setback, let it be, not my money anyway. Release or sell the entire squad and rebuild again.
Because clubs are queuing up to sign our players, Burnley players didnt earn much compared with Everton players, so they were easily sold.

Mosh will run - he’ll sell us to the first Chinese gambling tycoon that makes an offer

Relegation might get a reset but would be absolutely catastrophic for Everton and we might not recover from it. We would probably end up going into administration with the immense outlays and very little income compared to the PL.

Priority is stay in the league no matter what it takes, Moshiri sell up before summer and new owners bring in an entirely new staff and restructure during the summer.

Welcome to fantasy island as there is close to zero chance of any of that happening.
