My love for football and Everton are evaporating fast.

It’s more of an addiction than a passion due to the modern game and the state our club has been in for decades. Are they worth the attention?? NO! Will I go back YES! Because I’m an addict.

I genuinely fear within a few years there wouldn’t be an Everton. Keeping in mind that there is money in the game than ever and this board over the last 30 years have not managed to make the club profitable etx in anyway, we’re losing money hand over fist and relegation would be catastrophic. As you say tho, we go because it’s just what we do, not because we particularly enjoy it anymore.

There was a link yesterday with Qatar Airways wanting to sponsor the stadium I’m sort of hoping the Qatar Airways owners, the Qatar royal family might be interested in some sort of ownership instead, buy Moshiri and Bill out and replace the board with people who understand sport and business.

There are 6-7 teams that will never be relegated. That leaves the other 13-14 fighting to not be the bottom 3. On odds they will get relegated at some point. They need a complete system reboot and hope that refreshes the program.

Given the abysmal state of our club I’ve come to the difficult decision that the only way out of this mess is to accept our fate, accept relegation, get rid of Moshiri and the rest of our useless board and start again.

Obviously we will be left with a half finished stadium but we could get @tommye to give us a quote on finishing it. Might take a while as he’s only got one thumb but hey beggars can’t be choosers.

No I don’t buy into the reset theory. Going down and doing a Leeds can force a club to go into liquidation. We have to stay up.

Perfectly fine, but when I read about 'oblivion', 'not coming back in my lifetime' makes me think some of our supporters have the same low ball opinion and expectations of our great club as our current chairman. People need reminding from time to time.
