Do you believe the "Headlock" allegation?

With the information we have today what are people's thoughts on the credibility of these claims?

I may be behind here, but an allegation was made but not reported to the police.

The police I believe are now investigating following belated contact from the club.

For me, it's not really a question of do I believe the allegation or not.

Either a person or persons are charged and brought before a magistrate or not. Then we could not comment about it further and we perhaps should let the matter rest with the authorities in any event.

Nobody from the club contacted them. Merseyside Police reached out to them after being contacted by concerned supporters.

Currently, nobody has been arrested or charged.

Some club source has leaked the "CEO in a headlock" claim and the media has ran with it despite a lack of evidence.

I wonder of anybody has been contacted by the fam forum asking if they want them to represent any particular concern to the board? No, thought not!

Forgetting about the headlock accusation for a minute, are any of these accusations that were reported in the media correct?

Fans surrounding and hammering on DBB’s car in the car park after the Brighton game.

Sexually aggressive comments and e-mails to DBB saying they hoped her and her son both get cancer.

Death threats against BK, apparently being told he wouldn’t leave the city alive.

Barrier being thrown though glass window after the Brighton game.

All these were reported in the Athletic article
[Paid Content - Blacklisted]/4090391/2023/01/14/everton-southampton-board/?amp=1 but seem to have been ignored.

These are all extremely serious allegations that cannot be ignored.

Do you think there's a chance they all end up having to leave as a result of this. DBB, Sharp, Kenwright and Ingles? Can't see just one of them taking the fall for it somehow.
I'm starting to think this was intended to frame DBB in a bad light. A sacrificial toady for Billy the liars ego. Whomever cooked it up it has Prentice fingerprints all over it.

Some of them are certainly believable the problem is we’re into the boy who cried wolf territory aren’t we ?

Those stories are definitely far more believable and I'd be inclined to take them very seriously where it not for the fact that these people have already shown that they will make up the most preposterous lies imaginable in order defame the fans and paint themselves as the victims. I'm afraid that I simply can't take anything they say at face value at this point and will require actual proof before I treat their stories as anything other then pure fiction. This is a problem all of their own creation. They have made rods for their own backs.

Looking pretty definitive that the overwhelming majority polled do not believe the claims from the anonymous club sources.

Is everyone happy with Everton's follow up statements advising the matter has been dealt with internally and is now considered closed?

It hasn't convinced me that they're taking the allegations seriously.
