Koeman is quoted as to saying he has no involvement in player transfers. Do you not think that maybe Kenwright or whoever the brains behind the transfer window was got to deadline day, apparently had deals pulled from them and realised they were players short of what we needed? So rather than not sign anyone, as appeasement for the fans we sign someone , and those two were the ones available at the time. Valencia is a striker who hasn't scored in what, nearly 18 months. Do you think koeman actually wanted him? And more to the point, these were two players available all summer not just that day, why wait until hours before deadline to make a move? Because it certainly wasnt cost because a loan was small fee and Sissoko wasn't exactly cheaper than he wouod have been 4 weeks before that

Evidence that Koeman said that. Cos I'm finding it monumentally hard to believe.

I think what Koeman meant mate when he said he had no involvement was the money side.of things. Koeman basically tells Walsh what he needs such as a winger. Walsh will then give him a list and Koeman gives his opinion on who he likes. He doesn't deal with wages and transfer fee.

He mentioned this when Allardyce got sacked and said he didn't understand why so many managers have control over such things.

He needs to show some interest his team selections are a joke his non touchline antics his bench his lack of youth in the side etc etc this is as bad as the Walter/ Walker eras -if our relegation form continues he has to turn it around quickly ok!

I was trying to remember when , and you're right . it was in the debate following Big Sam's sacking .
