Have to disagree mate. Thought the overall standards on show were poor especially after Croatia were knocked out. Probably watched 3/4 of the France games and Sissoko was one of their stand out players not just in final. Surprised me a lot as I've never rated him.

I 'think' he's had an internal falling out as he's become quite arrogant after his 1st season with them and looking to move on since then.

Seem to recall you rating him quite highly Zat. What little I've seen he appears quite similar to Bolasie. Purely based on the way we were pissed about by Porto Id give him a wide birth now plus Id rather spend big on a proper midfield playmaker.

Very true. But most of those came when playing as a young full back in a very succesful United team. He got found out eventually though. Sissoko is making his way into the starting 11 at a very talented French squad after having a very poor domestic season in a team that were relegated

This is just a guess - but I believe that playing against better players is hardly the biggest reason, I reckon they get more money off advertisements etc for playing in the CL.

I was on the fence really....wanted us to sign him as hes better than anything we have...i think hes just too arrogant and has downed tools.

Saw him as a kanchelskis type and would have been happy with him if he played to his standards before hes thrown his toys out.
