That would be great if it wasn't for the fact that hundreds if not thousands of top flight footballers have gone back to their old teams or teams from where they were brought up.
Fergie doesn't give more than one year contracts to over 30s anyway, so it's irrelevant.

Nobody can see that far into the future, not even Rooney himself knows for sure what he'll be doing in 3-4-5 years.
Players with high profiles such as Rooney, theres no such thing as Final pay deal.

He's already achieved everything trophy wise, and there's absolutely no ****ing chance that Barcelona will sign a 30 year old english attacker when they've already got so much talent as it is.
Besides that you've already been told by Fox and LCAB that he's coming back, and their opinion is much more worth listening to than conspiracy theories about him wanting some extra cash.
Truth is that you don't have a clue about what he'll do, and neither do i, but i put a lot of stock into the statements of the two people i mentioned previously. If they say he'll be back within 4 years that's good enough for me, and it should be for you.
