Is right. Used to know a huge powerful rotty who was soft as because she was brought up properly. Great family dogs if you’re a good owner!

Rotties are great dogs. My mate had one which for whatever reason adored me. Probably because I always fussed and played with him from a pup. Soft as you like, used to dump himself down on me and roll over on his back for a tummy tickle / cuddle, like a very large baby.

Had a shocker of a start, starved/tortured - was due to be shot because she had no aggression/no use for a hunt.

Took time but she's 'rehabilitated' now. Even got used to me shouting at Everton on TV.

Scared of her own shadow, doesn’t like the wind, rain or cold.

My cocker utterly loves mud, puddles, undergrowth, getting utterly riffy and generally being a menace. He's a bit of a tool to be honest. What's the secret?

Chopper. Got him from dogs trust just over a year ago. First ever dog as family weren't dog people. Thought bull breeds were abit aggressive but he's a big baby. He's 10.
