I had a very loyal and wise cocker Brilliant dogs they are!
The cross of a shepherd and a cocker was too much for her brain to equate anything for a good while.

I have a mongrel, called a labradoodle to make it expensive. It's my wife's really, she picked it, I was stupid enough to allow it.
As a result it has 'allergies', a fear of rain or cold weather, believes itself higher in the pecking order than it is, costs a fortune in insurance and vets bills all on top of her special diet.
Nice dog.
No pics though, it doesn't want the attention :(

We decided to get a boarder collie. We did our research and settled on that breed, being as they are medium sized, and good family dogs.

Anyway, the one we end up getting grows up to be huge for a boarder collie. And he's full of energy. If I had the time and money, I'd of signed us both up to the local Flyball team, because his agility is top notch too.

So the dilemma was what to do with this huge(well, bigger then we had anticipated anyway), energetic dog with bad separation anxiety. He's a lovely dog, with a great temperament and wonderful personality, and it wasn't his fault he grew so big. And none of us wanted rid of him.

The solution was to get him a playmate. To be honest, there has been times when we've had a baby and two puppies terrorising the house, I've thought us mad. But none of us have regretted it, and it worked a treat in helping divert his energy.

Here is Chase, he's 3 now, but a nightmare to keep still long enough for a photo:20200508_100926.webp
And this is Isla. She's 1 and 1/2:

And to try and show you how big he is, here is the two of them together. I'd say Isla is probably medium, if slightly small for the breed:

TL/DR?

I also have a dog.

They look as they both have some Welsh, Blue merle and the more known Black and White in them...

Have had collies my entire life up to the last 4 years, the Celt pictured earlier is the perfect gent outdoors, in doors with other dogs he is a [Poor language removed] now he has been top dog, and would terrorize any Pup, and no-one wants an intelligent psychopathic collie, so will wait.

The smaller one, Isla, is a tri-blue merle. The big caloot, Chase, is a red merle. We did briefly consider getting a black and white one to complete the set, but 2 is enough lol.

I must admit I'm very impressed with the breed. Thier intelligence has surprised me on several occasions. I can see thier replacement in 15 years time being a black and white collie
