We`d get over run ( even more than we do now ) in midfield.

I never thought we`d need to strengthen as badly as we do in this window, but it`s becoming more and more obvious that the team is a mix of good players, average players and players that are all but finished at this level.

I just hope Brands is out there as we speak working his magic.

It's becoming more obvious by the week that the summer transfer window was overhyped. We've bought a lot of players good enough to be in the mix for 7th. We need more than that now. We need players capable of mixing it with the big boys. Tough ask.

He strengthened the areas that were crying out for it in the Summer.

However I don`t think he`d have ever thought, that the form of certain players from last season would fall off a cliff like it has done and need replacing as a matter of urgency, rather than a matter of course.

We`re about to see what he`s made of in the next few games.

From what I was told Souness was saying at half time it should never of been disallowed, I've not seen any of the game on TV so can't say but when you allow 6 it's hard to blame the ref (not that you were mate)

Thought he did well and put himself about a bit more than usual, but the Ref appeared to want him to play a 'no contact' version of football. Nice linkup play with Gylfi, and show of strength, to set up our first goal.
