“Nice things.” Nice things. Would you say an inability to control a ball is a nice thing? An inability to finish numerous good chances? Is that a nice thing too? He will become a Drogba type yet I am still too see him bully one single defender. Drogba type? Come on mate, put down the Glue, the lad is basic. We are paying this lad, what? 30k? 40k? A week. And I am supposed to feel sorry for him when he is leading the line at the club I love; a player I’d describe as someone with a dire first touch, poor link up play, a dreadful finisher, someone who doesn’t win anywhere near enough aerial duels, and someone who is a greedy player with no vision.

We will not progress with players of this standard.

I know a lot of fans don’t like him but after Sigurdsson and Richarlison he is our biggest goal threat. That can’t be denied.

I honestly don't understand the polarised view, yeah he ain't the best but neither is he the worst. Some posters will always be negative towards him, OK he needs to improve particularly his hold up play, for me he's poor at shielding the ball but for God's sake he's an improving 21 Yr old. Please allow him to develop.

He might never be world class but he's developed a lot from the kid that Koeman was throwing in during his first season.

Has pace, tall and is decent in the air. Personally I'd rather keep him and see how it goes over the next couple of years. I can't see he'll ever be a natural goalscorer but I'd rather have him on the bench than Niasse, Sandro, etc
