He had an absolutely awful game today. I suspect he will not make the geade at this or any other club in the Premier League.

Don't get me wrong, he had a shocker, but when the players around him (him included when off the ball), are so static, what do you expect.

If our players decided at any point to actually move, maybe you'd get a better return from him.

But he needs to improve, but he's not my main concern with this team.

It's one of them with DCL, the lad battles for the team, chips in with a few goals and at 21 he's got a lot of room and time to improve. However he's just not the standard required for a side looking to challenge for domestic trophies and a decent league finish.

People talk about him learning and improving as if he's only recently learned to kick a football.

I thought he might find his level today, alas he was completely anonymous. It's not his fault, of course, but it's absolutely disgraceful that he's starting games for Everton.
