If Dom can show the same level of improvement as he has done this year, he'll be a good asset, just need a senior partner or a different type of striker. Hopefully the goals will come for Dom, his work deserves it, could be a big season for him next year.

For someone his age he has seriously good attributes, He's quick strong tall can play the lone role which is a HUGE thing in the modern game, He absolutely destroyed Arsenal's back line on his own and imo gave Virgil van Dijk a run for his money in one of the matches.
His finishing is poor but he has time on his side to improve that but we 100% have to sign another striker regardless, Putting all our eggs in the DCL basket is clearly not enough.

Against Van Dijk?

It was like playing with ten men. He couldn't get a touch.

His work rate, pressing and hold up play suit Silva's tactics so well.
It sounds so obvious to say that if only he could find the net more regularly we'd be sorted for a first choice striker.

Look at Tosun, who's finishing is undoubtedly more clinical but the rest of his game/skills don't suit Silva's style at all...

...VvD was terrific in the Goodison Derby but DCL was certainly competitive against him. A few misplaced headers, the defender certainly knew he’d been in a game. I thought DCL ran himself into the ground and played well, occupying the CBs.

It was a performance his teammates and manager will have appreciated, even if some fans clearly didn’t.
