...VvD was terrific in the Goodison Derby but DCL was certainly competitive against him. A few misplaced headers, the defender certainly knew he’d been in a game. I thought DCL ran himself into the ground and played well, occupying the CBs.

It was a performance his teammates and manager will have appreciated, even if some fans clearly didn’t.

He tried but he was very ineffective. He didn't trouble anyone. Stop trying to sugar coat it.

And btw, I like DCL.

Only player i saw trouble VVD was Gomes somehow making him bounce off him.

DCL ran his legs off but was ineffective.
