Not sure why some believe that this lads problems will all disappear if he is moved about 20 yards in field.

There were two moments against West Ham that pretty much summed him up. Gueye played probably the best pass he's ever made over the top and DcL couldn't control it and another one in the second half when he was fed in down the left channel with a chance to run at West Ham's defence, he bottled it came inside and lost the ball.

He'll obviously get more chances playing upfront but he clearly had licence to come inside yesterday anyway, just like he did against Huddersfield. Its not like he was told by Silva to stay wide and get chalk on his boots. He has poor technique right now, that won't change just by moving his position around.

The most embarrassing play that occurred yesterday was his awful attempt to dribble after a breakaway and the ball got tangled under his feet then it deflected off a Hammers player and Tosum skied it.

He is far from being good enough for us yet. A problem of ours is bringing youngsters into the 1st team to develop which is more detrimental to us. We need them to be of higher quality before giving them too many games. The youngsters are as raw as anything....inconsistencies for all to see. It is not beneficial to the team to play them hoping they will eventually come good. If they are not up to the mark then a loan would be ideal for them to develop elsewhere and hope they can then bring something to us at a later date.
