He looks like he has bulked tbh, but I'm not sure this will help him. He's not the most naturally gifted player so his pace is needed, let's him get away from people. I'm not one to write lads off quickly but I'm not sure if he'll be much more than a squad player.

Not sure why you say that - @hallamblue is spot on!

Give me King and Wilson every day over over (perm any two from) DCL, Tosun, and Niasse! We were woeful up front yesterday and not for the first time this year! I can barely remember the ball sticking up front once! Every time it was played forward to either Tosun or DCL it literally bounced off them and came straight back! I’d actually forgotten Tosun was on the pitch second half until he got that “smack” on his head! We were dreadful yesterday but somehow still managed to create 4 or 5 really good chances that could and should have been put away!

Then you know we are in trouble when Niasse comes on - harsh I know but he is a truly awful player, and no doubt i’ll get pelters for saying that!

I think what will happen here on in will be Rico/Bernard left wing and Rico/DCL/Tosun fighting for up top. DCL on the wing does not work and Silva must know that but he had no options yesterday.

Bernard fit changes all that.

Not sure how any of us could make that judgement yet as he hasn't been given 90 mins for a while. I'd like to at least see him given longer than the 15-20 minutes he keeps getting. Lookman hasn't shown enough recently in the limited time he's been on but it's hard to have an effect when you're being given 15 mins at a time.

I agree with this.... Clearly we can't attract a top striker to our club, and opportunities to sign a young Lukaku don't come along that often.... So a medium level striker doing well at an mid-table Prem league club is probably what we sould be looking at, with the hope in a better team with more chances they do even better... Taking a punt on a striker from a Turkish league (whose goalscoring rate wasn't even that impressive) is mental... We should pick the best striker from outside the Top 6, and sign him up......
