If being hung out to dry is an inability to control or even get to a ball first that is played up to him then yes you’re correct. Don’t care where you are on the pitch the above is the minimum required yet he allowed a man many years his senior to make him look very ordinary.

I think what will happen here on in will be Rico/Bernard left wing and Rico/DCL/Tosun fighting for up top. DCL on the wing does not work and Silva must know that but he had no options yesterday.

He started 10 PL games under Allardyce. Before Allardyce arrived, he started eight PL games last season.
He also played in the cup game against Liverpool, so that's 11 starts.
He made nine further appearances in the league off the bench. So that's a total of 20 games he featured in under Sam.
He missed the last three games of the season due to injury. You could bet he'd have been in and around the team if he'd been fit.
This, and I said it at the time. Heck, I said it this summer that he'd be a good option.
Pace, strength, versatility. We've got Richarlison like, but still, King's a great player.
Think we could have got him last summer (2017) as well, but Koeman didn't want him and he signed a contract extension.
Yeh I think it’s because he’s from Bournemouth and doesn’t bag 25 but he’s perfect for a Silva set up. Plays how DCL should hopefully end up.
