Instantly puts me on a downer seeing him as a winger on the teamsheet. Especially when we had 2 left wingers on the bench. He's a striker and needs to be played in that position because Tosun is woeful and Niasse is Niasse.

Calvert Lewin was the least of our problems yesterday.
Kenny, Holgate, Gueye, Tosun and Sigurdsson all looked lost and gave woeful performances. Calvert Lewin at least showed some energy but there was zero creativity until Bernard came onto the pitch.
Zouma,Digne and Bernard were the only three that could walk away with any degree of satisfaction.

Have to disagree. It's not really his fault but he plays like a striker even when he's playing wide. Always with his back to goal and often drifting infield. He gave us no width, gave the ball away a lot, and didn't ever run at their full back. I agree that others were poor too, but he certainly wasn't any better, and him being a fish out of water obviously makes the others jobs harder.

Not this season they don't mate. Just saying to give him a go, thats if Richarlison can't play there which I'd love to see with Bernard on the wing.
