I rate the lad but he’s a centre forward

Annoys me why we played him on the wing today? He’s not a winger and the fact the manager hasn’t grasped that yet is horrendous. Give him a chance up top to be better than tosun surely

Surprised we haven’t tried Walcott as a CF?

He can never be allowed to start on the left wing ever again. Would actually much prefer Baines at LB and Digne LW if we are so short for options.

He does have some ability but he lets himself down consistently with a lack of self belief. There was a moment in the second half where he was played in down the left channel and he ended up bottling going down the outside, came inside and ran into traffic and the chance was gone. You could just tell he had no belief that he could run at the West Ham defence and score.

Either play him as a striker or don't play him at all.

He wasn't doing his job then mate because I hardly seen him out on the left, the amount of times Digne picked the ball up, looked down the line, and Lewin was nowhere to be seen as he once again had drifted into the middle. I know he's not a winger by the way.

Why is everyone saying he was playing on the wing? He was never on the wing, he was in the centre. What everyone complained about last season was that we never had anyone in the box but today there was DCL, Gylfi, Cenk and Walcott fighting each other for the ball. It has to come right any century now, I'm convinced ;)

Stats don’t matter we have no use for a striker who needs six chances to score 1.

I wouldn’t mind if he was hitting the target, he gets in one on one and goes to pieces.

He’s a terrific athlete, but a poor striker.

He hasn’t developed he’s exactly the same as he was two seasons ago in my opinion.

Championship bound.
