If you swapped the two players over and it was DCL who had cost a big fee then I could see the stick he gets as being justified. But as he cost so little we can afford to be patient.Maybe the lack of a proven top striker they both could learn from should be placed at the door of Silva/Brands.

Kean should be afforded the luxury DCL wasn’t, he should be brought along responsibly and allowed the time to adjust and given the patience.
Unfortunately for DCL he never had this. It’s criminal that we didn’t have an experienced first team striker to allow DCL the time to gain experience and be brought along gradually. What other PL teams are relying on 19-21 year olds to be the main CF.

Chelsea ?

Credit where credit is due! The lad showed out last night. Should be no bickering about him. Honestly should have had 3 for the hat trick. Happy for him! Still would like to see kean and him partner up at the top

as bad as it has been it won't be this bad all season, we went through a similar spell last season around Christmas etc and come good

Kean will get his chances
I do not understand this desire to get Kean into the team just now.
He clearly is not ready yet or close to it. The last thing he needs is to be thrown in and fail miserably even though it may not be his fault.

I think the manager is being sensible with him, putting him into the team and taking him back out again.
I could see him getting a regular start at the back end of the season but maybe not before that.

He is a young lad with no English settling into a new country, a new city and a new club. If the team were on top form it would be easier for him but he is being asked to improve a misfiring team and that he won't do.
