He’s another one of those Championship players who somehow gets a gig in the top league only to end up where he should be. Vardy is the opposite of such a player, plys his trade in a league that’s beneath him before moving up.

Not gonna praise his effort as that’s the minimum that should be expected, it’s his lack of quality that’s the issue.

Always like his character and effort but simple dont rate him as an everton number 9 . But did ok today. I look at it this way. Anyone who thinks he will do the bizz in the future is happy with us as a bottom fodder team.

Isnt any real debate about this. Hes a burnley striker. Or whoever just wants to finish 9th or 10th forever.
To be going into the season with him as our main hope up top actualy makes me want to cry. Its like we've given up.

He played alright should have just hit it with his left foot though.

The chance he had 2 minutes earlier, which he chose to hit with his right, gives an indication of his confidence/ability with his left foot.

When he didn't have the time and had no choice but to use his left foot, he looked like an awkward amateur using their weaker foot. He's useless at this level, but it's not mine or anyone's on here opinions that matter.
