Sadly. Football is full of wanna be experts but nothing looks more ridiculous than a players own fans desperately trawling stats to try and prove their dislike of a player is warranted.

He cost £2m and is on low end wages yet you were behaving like he was a £60m flop

Full of want to be experts ? Mate he was crap and we as a team were crap . I wasn’t all over it with “ glee” I was p’d off that we were crapand he was a massive part of that. You look before the derby game on here and literally 90% of the people on here were agreeing he was useless. 5 games later he’s Harry Kane again just like Barkley was the next scholes , Gerrard and Lampard

Mate drogba played as lone striker and bullied 4 defenders on his own, his hold up play was immense and he scored some massive goals in huge games and could actually shoot.

How much is he worth right now??

I would be loathe to sell him for £50m... even if he doesn't reach proficient levels of finishing his general forward play is niche level.... we seen a fit Andy Carroll demand that our defenders were switched on for second balls and this lad has loads more in his locker.

In 18 months he will probably be a good 5kg heavier, stronger, and he's already bullying established centre halves.

I said when we sold lukaku that we should have taken Rashford in part exchange. DCL and Rashford would be an outrageous partnership.

Lets see if DCL and Kean can develop a partnership next season.

If Drogba could "actually shoot" then Richarlison hitting 13 last season and DCL being 4 off Drogbas 3rd best league return of 12 must be doing really well.

Or that im not being blinded by a few games where DCL has scored.

The whole side since Duncs chelsea game has performed well as we've had you can argue two new manager bounces.

Anyone who seriously thinks DCL is worth £50 million is off their rocker.

If he keeps his performances up for another 12-24 months then yes you have a point but right now he's simply going through a decent spell - lets see if it continues.

I also think that Greenwood looks quality for his age and is the better finisher.

Mate now you are just being weird... have you ever seen DCL or even richy score a goal ... even one... like drogba did against us when Lampard also scored a screamer?

DCL cannot shoot like drogba he can not “hit” a ball like him and probably never will
 
Nice to see the usual melt down on here .Think of Sterling two seasons ago and now .With Don Carlo who already wanted him for Napoli who knows him and a bit more coaching time along with the confidence boost of knowing you are wanted ( GOT posters aside) .Let's ease up and watch the flower bloom .On top of this he seems a likeable level headed lad .COYB

Why are you comparing how a 22 year old striker strikes a ball to one of the best strikes in DD's career?
