Mate have you heard of a pause button?Yes. Er, no.
Trying to watch Uncle Buck as I type, so apologies for any typos. I fully appreciate that there are various aspects to a front man's job, rather than just scoring now and again and imitating a statue the rest of the time. I also accept that if the striker does the statue thing, then regularly scores our goal in a 1-3 defeat, he isn't helping us win.
None of this is rocket science, nor does it excuse a striker from not scoring. A taxi driver has to maintain good customer relations, liaise effectively with control, and not mow down pedestrians. No matter how good he/she is at this, failure to regularly get people from A to B is undeniably failure.
Arguments that DCL's service has been terrible hitherto are debatable, but very thin in my opinion. Nor do I remember Lukaku being as idle and useless outside the area as many claim, but that's another debate.
That's it. Uncle Buck and bed. Happy New Year.!
Pause =enemy of reasoned debate. Buck calling again.....Mate have you heard of a pause button?

Seriously? New year's eve, bottle of champers, 2 LARGE Glen Fiddichs, and a robust port under the belt (not to mention half an eye on Uncle Buck) and you expect focus?Focus

Drink.
Repeat.
Also, aspects 'are'.
Done! (Predictive text very nearly made me say "do one". Wonder how many bitter battles on here result from similar miscommunication).Go back to Uncle Buck
Either it’s an elaborate act of misdirection to invite an bid or Carlo really does believe in him.
Happy new year!

You wanted to keep players with bad attitudes and get rid of one player who had a fully committed attitude..... ok... I can see how that's shaping now too.
Dom really is the exception to the rule with this club. Davies, Holgate and Kenny have also been given a tough time breaking through.I have always said DCL has a great attitude, I seen glimpses of talent in both lookman and vlasic and the way lookman was treated and had bolasie and Walcott being picked regularly despite producing nothing , would have frustrated anyone. Vlasic wasn’t given any game time of note and that’s probably why he wanted out too. You cannot say that koeman, Silva, or Sam we’re good at giving youth a chance and DCL wasn’t producing anything under them either. Lookman went past people with ease which is something we lacked massively and vlasic didn’t really have any time to show what he could do. Kean was being treated the same under Silva and hopefully Carlo will know how to handle him and get the best out of him.
