It almost glued to his foot and then he moved wide. Too good of a touch. If it was worse he may have accidentally knocked it forwards properly. Just one of those things.

DCL isnt even better than Greenwood never mind kin Martial or Rashford.

After all the investment on players over the years DCL shouldn’t even be playing regular, not replacing Lukaku has been the downfall of the last few managers. Get Lukaku back in the summer pair him up with Kean or Richarlison and let DCL have Tosun place on the bench.

To be fair, assuming that he wanted to get the ball out of his feet, it was a poor touch. It wasn’t a heavy touch, but nobody said it was.

Imo the form he’s been in lately still isn’t good enough to be Everton’s main striker, I hope Ancelotti takes that on board ASAP and get someone in a bit nearer the standard of Lukaku. Up and coming is ok in some positions and you can carry one up front, imo we’ve seen the best DCL can do, He’s ok but nothing special, I have much higher hopes for Kean, but like I said we need to sign a better striker.

so 5 in 5 (now 5 in 6) isn't good enough form to be Everton's main striker, no way he will keep it up, so you are right, hes not good enough to be our main striker, however 31 goals in 38 games is what 5 in 6 translates to, so saying even in that form isn't good enough is a bit daft
