After all the investment on players over the years DCL shouldn’t even be playing regular, not replacing Lukaku has been the downfall of the last few managers. Get Lukaku back in the summer pair him up with Kean or Richarlison and let DCL have Tosun place on the bench.

amusing how, after four years of people whinging that our greatest goal-scorer in at least a decade doesn't run around enough or hold the ball up, we now have a striker who holds the ball up and runs about but rarely scores. feels like karma. Our total number of goals hasn't suffered...

Lukaku wasn’t perfect for us when he was here, but in his time here he did score 1 in 2, he was lazy at times, he rocked the boat on international duty, he didn’t always turn up for the big games but he was a scorer of goals even when our squad wasn’t great. DCL has made over 100 appearances and is not a 1 in 2 striker, including cups he’s more of a 1 in 4, he does a job up front but that’s about it, Deeney,Ings,Wood etc all do a job as good and score more goals, would I want them here, NO I want a player that will score goals regular. Lukaku would DCL doesn't, will he? Doubt it but if he does great but I still think we need better up top to be a regular top 6 side. We have Ancelotti now not Silva,Martinez,Koeman,Big Sam,Moyes expectations have risen massively, I have the feeling the next year is going to be very good for big names coming in, watch this space.

He's scored a few. First goal at Sheff Wed in the league cup springs to mind as a recent example.

Comes to something when we say our striker has scored a "few" where he has not fallen over when striking the ball haha, but yea I have no doubt he has scored a few if we search our memory banks... but my point still stands that he is pretty poor with his feet.
