I'm thinking that this season's turning out a godsend for DCL in that the other "strikers" have struggled so much that he's been given an extended run, this has been rewarded with goals. Where we not to buy anyone this month (and Jan' is a bad time to buy) and go with what we've got then as well as DCL progressing it might work the same way for Kean (albeit that he's back-up for Richie/DCL).

It will be interesting to see what Carlo does this window - buy or wait until the summer.

What a load of absolute drivel

Best striker we've had in a long long time..scored goals for us for United and now for inter who are challenging for the title

If you don't rate lukuka you haven't got a single clue about football. The lad was a machine
He isn’t, if he was he’d still be at United, he certainly wouldn’t of been sold for the same price they purchased him, Inter again fell out if the CL because he can’t cut it at that level, much like he didn’t at Everton or United. He has never been a regular scorer against top teams, that’s an absolute fact, sure I once read he had about 3 goals for United against fellow top 6 clubs and the big names of Europe. That’s astonishingly poor in two seasons, given two came against PSG. He’s a flat track bully, flat track bullies don’t belong in the “machine” category.

@davek :coffee:

At lukakus age vardy was sniffing conference north undies you melt
Not sure name calling is necessary. I didn’t resort to that, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Vardy could stop now and Lukaku will never reach his tally vs “top teams” and that’s a sad indictment for a player that you are so desperate for Lukaku to be. If you type flat track bully in to google Lukaku pops up.

Sorry that was uncalled for your right

But on topic, flogging a dead horse here matr. Luakku is prolific everywhere he goes. He is a far better player than vardy

If it helps resolve the argument, Vardy looks like a laboratory rat (or the character Timothy Spall played in Harry Potter) whilst Rom is a ringer for Stormzy. On that basis, I think we must all agree that Rom wins!
