Ings is another lad though who's had a hot flush from nowhere. I mean in the previous 4-5 seasons Id be amazed if he had got 5 league goals in any of them.

Seen more of the promise he’s displayed this season today. Showed good movement to get pick up dangerous positions and his hold up play was quality. Should have made better contact with his headed chances though. Big fan of him adding a bit of flair to his game now too.

Ings is a replacement level premier league striker on a hot streak. He will never score this many goals in a season again. Vault me.

Before this season Ings hadn’t scored double figures in the league in 5 years, when he was at Burnley. Since then he scored 3 in 3, albeit injury hit, seasons at the RS then 7 last season at Saints when he was on loan
