The lads 23 - unless he is a late bloomer he's as good as he is going to get and for me its not good enough to be guaranteed a starting place up top every week if we are genuinely aiming for the top 6 next season.

City: Aguero, Jesus
RS: Mane, Salah, Firmino
Spurs: Kane, Son, Moura
Utd: Martial, Greenwood, Rashford
Chelsea: Werner, Abraham, Giroud
Arsenal: Aubameyang, Lacazette

Not even including Leicester and Wolves who have some decent options up top - we are miles off having that same threat Richarlison aside.
DCL has scored more than Jesus, Firmino, Son, Moura, Lacazette.
On the same as Abraham and Kane when we have top THREE worst midfields in the league.
F o r w a r d s aren't the problem its our M i d f i e l d.

He's scored more based on a 3 month patch.

3 months in 3 years at the club.

If you can not see why its simply obtuse to keep peddling this stat as if it proves he's a proven goalscorer then I give up with you.

Its akin to Everton being top of the league after 3 games and claiming we are good enough to win the league.

Will you just stop talking; you lower the IQ of the entire forum.

No it just shows his development and he's upped his game compared to previous seasons because everyone said the thing he was lacking was goals and now it's still not enough apparently.
You're complaining about the only positives that's happened this season in DCL/Richarlison hitting 10 each.

No it doesn't- it shows he had a purple patch in comparison to the rest of his 3 years at the club.

The fact he has gone 4 games without a goal and likely 5 after Monday is testament to that - hence why Ancelotti is having to peddle the "he works hard so im not concerned that he isn't scoring" line as he knows as do we all outside of his fanboy group his limitations in front of goal.

We have DCL on 15 Goals & Richarlison on 13 goals who have both done their job...

Problem we have is goals from other players Walcott 1, Bernard 3,Sigurdsson 3,Iwobi 2,Davies 2...

We need more goals from other areas of the team & a back up striker scoring to keep DCL under pressure from complacency.

I’m pretty damn sure you didn’t even finish your GCSE’s. Chat utter wham constantly, all day every day, one of the worst posters in the history of GOT and not even on an original account to boot.

From the bloke who lives in his ma's attic and supports 2 different teams thats a good one.

And when you grow up and get in the real world you'll also quickly find the majority of those who have done very well for themselves in life didn't go to uni (I did) believe me builders and plumbers may not have many GCSEs but they live in nice 4 bed detached houses and go on holiday every year...

lol
Lets just ignore our midfield creating virtually zilch and blame it all on DCL for not scoring since restart.

Lets just ignore DCL falling over easy and missing easy chances/headers and not timing his runs to get on the end of chances like in the derby and blame it all on our midfield.

See we can all have an agenda and yours is the midfield.

Aguero: perhaps his generation's best striker.

Jesus: equal goal ratio per. 90 min as DCL. Also plays on a team that produces far more chances.

Mane: Has 1 season over 20 goals in PL. Otherwise, his average is 13.5 goals per season in PL.

Salah: Is one of the world's best in his position, but didn't peak until he was 25/26 years.

Firminho: A great link-up player, but no goal scorer. Scores around 10-11 goals in a season.

Kane: The best English striker since Shearer. But is not much better than DCL this year - if you look at the stats. The curve has been pointing downward in recent years.

Moura: Significantly worse goal rate than DCL.

Son: Scores around 10 goals in a season.

Marital, Rashford and MG: All are at about the same level as DCL.

Werner: No season in PL yet - so we'll have to wait to see.

Abraham: About the same level as DCL.

Giroud: At his best, he gave you 12-16 goals in a PL season.

Aybamayang: One of PL's best strikers / forward.

Lacazette: Scores between 10 - 15 goals in a PL season. An ordinary PL strike - which should have peaked now.

Raul Jimenez: At the same level as DCL.

Jamie Vardy: Classic goal scorer, but who broke through late in his career.

????????????? what
How is that an agenda, It is a clear problem widely accepted by the fanbase you absolute goon.
No one ignores that though? He gets critiqued all the time, I mean you're going on about agendas but the first post after the Leicester win from you was straight to the DCL thread absolutely reveling in it that he hasn't scored again.
