We played better under big Duncan - no tippy tippy crap more direct........DCL at least got some service by passing our static midfield.......that had to be the worst team performance for a long time......

People can say he had no service all night but too often he gets the ball and does nothing with it. Even Neville pointed out at one point that he could have turned and ran at the defender in the box, but he checked back and slowed the play down. He does this far too often. He looks for the easy lay off instead of trying to affect the game. Rico at least gets the ball and tries to turn and run at them. DCL for me, his decision making is poor.
There were a load more Donkeys in our midfield than DCL .......
They both had one effort each....?no service..??

Doesn’t excuse him Joey. He didn’t do his bit either. You’ll have better luck defending him if you’d be willing to acknowledge he was below par when he is. This was his worst showing in a while.
That lies with our manager, who says he's great - I will defend him and Rhico playing in front of the worst midfield I have ever seen in blue shirts since 1963 .....

Dom had his moments to criticize today.
Needs to run at defenders. Turning away from goal way too often currently. Get the ball beyond the last defender and invite challenges. Its not like he's slow either.
I’m talking about outside the box. You can’t always rely on service. He’s touched the ball a lot of times tonight and it was his decision, every time he touched it, to just either lay it off or give it away. Wouldn’t you think at some point, a goal down, in a dire game, you’d think, I’m gonna get this turn and make something happen? All the best players do it. And we think they need service to do that? Rico does it, hence the load of fouls he gets and chances he creates for himself. DCLs effort was a loose leg from a free kick

This is why we need another striker we have nothing to come of the bench, Kean is young not getting much game time, probably feeling the pressure when he comes on. But I just don’t think he’s anyway near ready for the prem.
