I agree the PL has been crap. The Championship is really exciting top middle and bottom even without the crowds. Follow it on Quest TV.

The dcl shlong jockeys rode it till till went purple. And now they are in patch-up mode.

Since the restart, corners apart, has there been a single cross from out wide for him to attack?
I am sure there must have been but I am struggling to remember them.

DCL's curve flattens out as the number of crosses decreases. Possibly a coincidence. At the same time, we must also keep in mind that Ancelotti was quite clear that DCL had to stay more within the box.

Him and Richy have such a horrid role in the side. Can't possibly stay around the box as they have to constantly drop back to help out the midfield.

Sorry "midfield".

half of these where from direct mistakes from opposition defenders and goalkeepers gifting him the ball inside the 6 yard box. He even nearly missed one of these gifts from 3 yards out.

Teams haven’t made any mistakes against us at the back for a while now..and guess what.. DCL hasn’t scored.

How many goals go in against us and you think 'fair play, nothing the defence/ keeper could have done there'?

Apart from the absolute spectacular, for every goal that's scored there's at least one mistake before it.

To level that against a lad on 13 league goals (more than double his next best) is ridiculous. Every header he scores on the box, someone should have been marking him; for every one on one the keeper should do better; for every decent finish, a defender should have got a block in.

yeah, I think this is bang on

i feel like we are saying it all the time with players at this club over the last few seasons, always wishing and hoping for better circumstances so certain players might show what they’ve got...... but I really want to see these two players with an actual real life proper midfield behind them.
