Just got to give him a bit of a free pass for the season. He has shown he can score, he is only going to find it easier bullying defenders as he gets older so fingers crossed he gets a good pre-season in, scores against a few minnows and then carries that on from there.
The disruption came completely at the wrong time for Dom, he was scoring freely, he was likely going to get a senior cap and could well have been England's main striker at a tournament with the others being crocked. You can't put a value on how much that has taken a toll.

Still think he needs a couple more seasons in him before he realises his potential. Still a gamble as you never know when he hits his ceiling and how good he actually will be. This season, pre-asterisk, he did well. He should have plenty of opportunities next season and I hope he takes them and kicks on again next season.
I'd love a high quality striker to be bought but I don't see that position strengthening with more urgent fire fighting in the squad requiring attention.
