If I'm not mistaken we won the championship that year and the reason we did it was because all players worked as a team.

DCL amongst others are not even working, we already have a replacement for DCL in Kean, Ancelotti should have already picked up that DCL is not the answer and started playing him post Covid, he obviously should have dropped a lot more but we are only talking DCL on a DCL thread otherwise we would say drop half the team and give the kids a go as we were never getting relegated and the £2.5M is immaterial when your owner has a bucket full of dosh.

Convince some outfit like West Ham to lash £40 million at us - would alone give us the leg room needed FFP speaking to do a squad rebuild.

That's a load of gibberish m8, How is Kean his replacement? The lad has barely played and we don't even know the full extent of his capabilities in the league. He's looked good in games but he can't do the stuff DCL can, He's a better finisher but Richarlison or Kean can't play the lone man role, DCL had his best spell under Ancelotti or as others call it the infamous purple patch.

He's not getting sold or replaced and people need to accept it, We move on with Richarlison/DCL/Kean as our attackers and hopefully get a midfield who can pass forward.

It won't happen until we improve the team behind the forward, and stop playing tippy tappy football slowly - plus poor crosses.....both forwards with a decent midfield will score loads imo

It goes two ways - Kean gets upto speed and DCL is a good sub/Kean fails and sold but DCL still a good sub and we have to buy.

Being young is no reason anymore for failure, lots of teams ave younger players who are doing the business - he aint!!!!!!!!

The reason people aren't having a go at Richarlison is twofold:

1. He is not an out and out striker, DCL is supposed to be.

2. As I have previously stated, this is a DCL thread, if you want to start one to slate Richarlison feel free.

It doesnt have to be one or the other, its prefectly possible to have Richarlison, DCL and Kean and for all of them to be good options and offer something different at different times.

I have zero problem with it. In fact its nice to have a line were dont need urgent attention and its strange its that one as we are usually well short in it.

I wouldn't call many of these 'lucky' or plonked 'on his head from 3 yards out' personally.
