People making out 13 league goals is some insane figure, that Antonio has just finished the season scoring 8 goals in 6 games for west ham, what put him on 10 or 11 for the season. Literally a couple behind DCL and he's utter trash

See how one good spell in the season makes out you've had a better season than you actually have
Antonios not usually a striker either

I think in the last few games it was quite clear we have the worst midfield in the league.
We were over run in midfield Villa and Bournemouth, even Norwich put up a display against them. Absolutely rancid.

We have a utterly terrible midfield, but so do teams from clubs who finished below is

No, I'm saying he scored less than 50% of his goals on the wing not "80-90%" like you claimed. Was actually 38.5%

Any comment on the list of a bunch of strikers that scored less than him? No, not really.

Not all did, some we are talking 1 or 2 goals so again the point is very valid isn't it

And I'd say he's spent more 50%+ on the wing over the two seasons then 38%

Depends on the strengths of the striker I suppose.

Where pace is a key part of their game, the younger the better really but I wouldn't put DCL in that bracket.

Majority of strikers hitting their peak at 27 or so is not far off

You wouldn't say dcls pace and power is a key part of their game?

Our midfield was over run by the terrible teams below us, that’s my point.

No, you said "80-90% of Richarlison's goals this season (13) came from the wing."

He scored 5 goals when playing on the wings this season.

That is 38.5% of his goals not 80-90%.

If he scored '80-90%' of his goals from the wing that would be 11-12 not 5.

Very simple calculations.

Not what the stats suggest.
Stats say he plays here there and everywhere and still manages to be a better striker than bambi Lewin

Did you not know you get less points for lucky goals and tap ins?

I couldn't give a toss if he has scored 15 goals off his backside as long as they go in.
It’s just a predetermined criticism used to diminish his progress and it’s a bit sad. People are happier to cheer for our players to fail than to cheer for our players to succeed so they can get their validation fix. Hit you with the ‘I told you so!!!!!’

Alrite smithers put the calculator down

Firstly I didn't say 80-90% of Richarlisons goals come from the wing I said he's played 80-90% of time on the wing, two completely different stats.

Brands should sell high with DCL and get the youth + English tax on him to fund bigger moves in CM and RM. Promote Simms and have him take up the role that Kean had all season.

Some are blinded to how poor he has shown to be when he’s not on red hot form because of his goal tally. Same thing I moaned about this time last year with Siggy who has shown nothing this past season to warrant pulling on the shirt

Simms is not ready for the PL.

Think there’s a bit of rewriting of the season going on both sides here. His goal return has been good, and he’s scored some good goals. He’s still missed some very good chances, and his all round game can be good but isn’t consistently so. There’s no real need to go over the top either way, he’s been generally good but ideally he needs to be better if we’re going to improve.
No one can ever just be an OK player.

If Calvert-Lewin has been put on top money, it was a ridiculous decision on the club's part. If he's on a reasonable wage, he's worth having in the squad.

You want to sell an established premiership striker who is improving year on year and replace him with a youngster who has never played one minute in the first team.
