We will never get anywhere near the top six. We need a 20 goal a season striker to get anywhere near. This isn’t DCL fault but it’s another failing for the club.

....it’s genuinely brilliant that picture. Goalscorers have a picture of the goal in their mind. It’s about pictures. They know where the keeper should be, they know where defenders should be. Because of that, goalscorers invariably finish inside the post.

DCL doesn’t do that, he hits the ball goalwards, he wins headers but doesn’t win headers to score. I accept he won’t be prolific, but he needs to be a threat. I like the lad, but he’s not a threat.
