Still need a different type of striker. A ball player, a clever player, someone who can make something out of nothing.....would cost a fortune though. Cut off service to DCL and he becomes a passenger. When we say service to DCL we mean crosses basically as that has become his forte. I still believe he is more of a dunc type of striker when at times we also need the creative off the cuff striker. I wouldn't say he was totally starved of service against Leeds and I would be more inclined to say he was marked out of the game leaving us with nothing

Every side is looking for strikers like you mentioned. The fact that he can lead the line and bring others into play whilst scoring goals puts him in a bracket of striker that is rare.

Last few games he has missed him, also we are not getting anyone near him for much of the game leaving him isolated.

The funny part is Dom is both proving him wrong by being good but also proving his whole "if we signed a proper striker we'd win the lot" theory wrong as we still aren't fully clicking even with the top scorer in the league.

I doubt it. Not because he is not good enough, but he is not Pep'z type of striker. He likes strikers that play possession style more than a target man. Even Ibra wasn't a hit in his system.

I do think he is our hottest commodity now to sell
