Service to him is useless
Lewandovski wouldn’t have scored for us tonight, that sort of service can go in the bin.
But he's got to make himself available. He was static throughout the game. The number of times Godfrey took a throw in and not one blue shirt made himself available. No one coming near then spinning away. No switching between each other. No interaction. It was awful to watch. DCL was his own worst enemy tonight making himself easy to mark.Service to him is useless
Maybe but I’d like to see Richy uptop with him again, Dom wins flicks on all day (apart from tonight) and he has no1 playing off or near him, I think he needs the link up play of another striker to get him more involvedBut he's got to make himself available. Yeah. I certainly don't think the lone striker role is for him.Maybe but I’d like to see Richy uptop with him again, Dom wins flicks on all day (apart from tonight) and he has no1 playing off or near him, I think he needs the link up play of another striker to get him more involved
The only thing they had to worry about tonight was which one of them was gonna stand next to him. Some of his decisions were poor when he had the chance to play others in. Needs to work on that side of his game. Wasn't his greatest showing. He's being moulded into a classic centre forward by Ancelotti and he's most effective with service. He's never going to be Richy and run at players, but I'm comfortable with this because he gives the opposition a different threat to worry about.
He seems to be doing quite well in that lone striker role this year...Yeah. I certainly don't think the lone striker role is for him.
