Been playing up there on his own and barely a player anywhere near him for large parts of the last few games. Tonight Bernard and Iwobi couldn’t get up the field to support him. The lad can’t do it all himself.

Deffo mate. We've almost ditched our offensive play to become more solid and hope to catch teams on the break, I said it the other day, we actually look a bit like a Moyes team.

Feeding off scraps.... and being flogged running around closing down for 90 minutes. Richarlison and James need to come back firing on all cylinders for DCL to get chances from open play.

Digne is a big miss for him as well.

Unfortunately DCL is just a slotter. Doesnt do enough off the ball to create situations. Best forward we have though. We need another creative midfielder in January. Im thinking Carlo can get players from Napoli, Psg, Bayern (Gnabry? I know floped at west brom) could be good for us though to feed DCL!

Thought Josh King would have been a decent shout in the summer. Could have covered for Richarlisons suspension and would have been a different type of striker we need when DCL isn't getting any joy. King is good at creating space for himself, is good at holding the ball and is also capable of making something happen. Would have been ideal cover for Richie and DCL

Much of the time the media refers to DCL and Richarlison as a 'partnership'. But it's not. Richarlison is playing so wide that he is almost totally disconnected from DCL. You can count the number of times they come within 5 yards of each other in open play over 90 minutes on one hand.
