I feel bad criticising him but my one complaint last night was he turned down a couple of chances to stretch his legs against Dawson. It won't always be laid on a plate and at times we need him to stretch the field himself. He has more than enough pace to do it.

Don’t agree with this. Think you’re referring to when he received the ball near halfway on the left and lofted it across field because there was nothing ahead of him. Hoddle made reference to it in commentary.

He is never going to be effective in those positions. We know where he’s effective and that’s in front of goal with good quality service. Unless he’s getting that, we won’t be scoring many goals unfortunately.

Why arent you frustrated by his complete lack of service - as per what type of striker he is. He’s not a direct dribbler at defences and im not sure why you think he is.

Absolutely, people acting like it’s some big mystery why he’s not scored recently. Ain’t nobody scoring goals the way we’ve been playing recently. You have to create chances and get people into the box to support the striker to get a centre forward scoring goals - at the rate he was earlier in the season anyway.

Carlo’s made a conscious decision to make us solid and shore up the defence, which is fine but it’s come at the expense of creating chances and goals. Which is fine because we’ve been getting results - just don’t turn round to the centre forward and say “he’s gone off the boil, he’s not scoring”.

Swear to god there are no bigger divers in the game than Salah and Mina and a honours mention for Harry Kane. Some teams or players can do no wrong in the media, luckily both Sutton and Savage are a total embarrassment to it. DCL has never been a diver.

Finding the diving claims a bit bizarre to be honest. Added to that the likes of Harry Kane gets away with it most matches and doesn’t get a mention from these obnoxious toads.
