Given that he is joint second with Fernandes who has scored (I believe) 7 penalties and two behind Salah who has scored 5 penalties I suspect that Sky's top goal scorers chart might actually now be the top scorer chart.

Just shows you the reward you get for sticking with a young player, if you believe in him. A lot of our fans would have happily shifted him out but the club gave him 3 years to develop. What other clubs gives young players that much time? What a player we have now that he’s got so much experience in the bag. And he will only get better.
Not talking about last night btw, wasn’t one of his best tbh, but he is always a threat now, whoever he plays.

Just reading back and he was getting a lot of grief for his performance before his goal.
Getting called lazy, does anyone ever stop to think he has been told to concentrate on getting on the end of things? yes we lose a little of his huff n puff and at times I think a little bit more of it wouldn't go amiss but he has been told to score goals in the box and that's what he is doing.
He isn't going to score screamers it's not his thing, if he's scoring 15+ open play goals and still being moaned about, that's just wrong and frankly a bit bizarre and agenda driven.

I think he needs a back up so we can rest from time to time but there is absolutely no doubt he is now officially good enough to be our first choice striker. The last 2 games have proved he can even handle the tough patches when he isn't scoring and come back and be a threat. I'll hold my hands up here I always thought he was decent and make a good back but thought we needed someone else as first choice. I was wrong he has saved us millions I just hope he us buying into the project and wants to stay.
