Richy is not a striker. The difference in quality up top is obvious when Richy moved to support Dom. I have to say though both had a big impact on the game. Good to see
That's the type of quality that makes him world's greatest right back.I have been arguing with my red mates about this. He definitely knows what he's doing there
Hahaha. There's something not right with them. Mane has looked like shaun Wright Phillips recently. Not gonna complain though because hopefully that win is one of many against them incomingThat's the type of quality that makes him world's greatest right back.
impeded for the tap-in actually.Hate to say it, but twice now he’s found himself one on one on goal and messed it up. Saved by the penalty
Vey much this, his progress has been terrific, he is now believing that e belongs at the top of the pile, and he is still young, still learning. I agree a fully fit 90 minute Dom against those yesterday would have been a riot. Next time, maybe he can put Lazarus van Dyke in his place too.I thought he was absolutely brilliant yesterday. Not just the performance, but how he conducted himself. He strode onto the pitch not just like he was the best player on the pitch, but he owned the turf. For those old enough, there was a period Ferguson did this as well, but even he wasn't as good as Dom.
I think of him bouncing Robertson off him when Robertson tried to foul him. Or When he outjumped Phillips to control aball with his chest. They were terrified of him yesterday. A fully fit Dom for 90 minutes yesterday would have ran riot.
But yes, his body language was superb, and I haven't seen that since Duncan in the 90's
It's true 1 on 1s are not his strong point. But yesterday was not an example of that. Firstly he won a flat race with arguably Liverpools quickest player. When he got there flanked by 2 defenders he had to take the shot quickly from outside the area to beat the sliding challenge from TAA. The keeper brought off a fantastic save to prevent a goal, the ball was already past him when he got a strong hand to it. The first time effort from Dom was so good the keeper could literally do no more than palm it directly back into his path, and he had a simple tap in if not for the penalty foul.I’m only pointing out he missed first time. I think Richarlison would have scored
I said after his performance against Spurs, he reminded me of Drogba. He’s a real handful physically and his all round game is coming on leaps and bounds. Ferguson and Carlo have done an amazing job in just over a year working with him.I thought he was absolutely brilliant yesterday. Not just the performance, but how he conducted himself. Can imagine being "snapped" by this lad, and it would hurt.I said after his performance against Spurs, he reminded me of Drogba. He’s a real handful physically and his all round game is coming on leaps and bounds. Ferguson and Carlo have done an amazing job in just over a year working with him.
Just wish he’d done it to Robertson yesterday. He terrified their defence when he came on.Can imagine being "snapped" by this lad, and it would hurt.
they tried mulling him around and he just bounced them. Good job for them he wasn't fully fit to do the 90Just wish he’d done it to Robertson yesterday. He terrified their defence when he came on.
They're v different players, which is good. Felt far more relaxed when DCL came on, his hold up play is brilliant and it stemmed the tide of possession Liverpool were getting in our half
