I really don't call that good service mate. Not when we know what his strengths are.

There was that header from the set-piece he stretched for, probably the only chance we created for him bar the goal which I'd count as 'good service'.

Why aren't we drilling balls into the six-yard box at every opportunity?

3 good headed chances and played through 3 times where his touch let him down.

To go from a good PL striker to an elite player he needs to improve that first touch to get the chances through on goal. Hes far too good to allow himself to become a one dimensional 6 yard box poacher.
 
That header was a great goal. Just frustrating as you know he's going to be mad at himself for missing the chances he did. That is a positive That he will know that he should have done better on a couple of them and will work hard to ensure he improves. Great player for the club but he himself will acknowledge his inst the finished article yet

Okay, fair point.

Just feel that, as he's just turning 24, that's a side of his game he needs to work on.

But, what he is really good at is scoring goals from inside the danger area. So we should be creating more chances that get him in those positions to score the goals he's good at scoring, and let the development come while we're scoring goals and winning games.

Doesn't trust his left foot because he's been doing the same time and time again..

He's going to have to work on that part of his game because about 3 of the chances to run in on goal would have been easier to control woth his left.

Dreadful forward play today.

At least he tried the header he missed in the 2nd half the defender in front got a slightly & the ball got him in the face the service to him bar one good cross from Davies was Zilch....

Joey, my mum would have slotted the header 2nd half and his first touch was as bad as my mother's on the 4 occasions he had a chance to either run through or be one on one against a defender.

He was absolutely abysmal. Him and Richarlison were shocking and made Wood and Vydra look like prime Lewandowski and Muller

I'd rather him attempt with his left and cock it up because I think it would be easier to recover off the inside of his foot, the outside of his right and it could go anywhere

5-6 chances stop an exaggerated statement if the ever was one - gosh he scored Rhico walked around like a spoilt brat .....
We will be lucky to keep them two next season ......

There's no way he will be happy with his performance today because he sets his own standards high. He'll be thinking he should have been walking off with the match ball.

He got very good service today and his touch was just not there. Its all part of the process with Dom and I dont see any reason why he won't keep improving, but today was a bad day for him and we get at least a draw if he performs.
