....seasons are ups and downs for players. It’s hard to keep a level of form throughout. DCL was on the front foot to score a late equaliser at Old Trafford, he now looks on his heels.

He’s not Kane or Lukaku when it comes to scoring goals but he’s a terrific, progressive young striker who’ll certainly be on the shopping list of the big boys.

Hope so!

This header merchant could only dream

...not sure why the comparisons are being made. Lukaku isn’t here because he wanted to leave. Finding another Lukaku is not going to be easy, although if we want him back I saw a quote of £120m this week.

DCL is fine, we’re lucky he’s come along. He’s not Lukaku, I’m not sure who we can get who is.

Jesus Christ lads, the lad is one off 50 for the club and has improved year on year. 2 seasons ago he didn’t look a striker who could score 10 in a season, he’s since done it 2 seasons on the bounce as well as making the senior England squad

I respect your posts. He's 24 though.

He's had a period of roughly 12 months where he's scored streakily.

You said yourself you hope he finishes rather than expect.

He isn't going to take us to where we want to go. It's as simple as that.

120m for guaranteed 25 goals per year. Bargain.

Well, seeing as how some are claiming DCL will be on all the big boys shopping lists, sell him and buy Lukaku back. Since, according to some, DCL is pretty valuable. This transfer stuff is easy

Better than Gabriel Jesus on any measure you care to mention. Scores more goals despite being at a much worse side, holds the ball up far better, more dangerous in the air, does more legwork in the channels. Jesus is City's weak link, its why they try and play with no striker instead.

DCL is an England International scoring 1 in 2 games, young, improving and people are saying he wouldn't get a game at West Ham or Leicester. Bloody ridiculous.
Bit mad this.

Hasn't scored a single goal form beyond the penalty spot still and missed his two chances tonight to do so.

The DCL haters are at it on one but no mention of Rhico who missed easier chances ?that header he had to aim at the goal but went fora spectacular top corner that was a easiest chance we missed tonight .....
Then spitting out his dummy to take a free kick ......just blame DCL hey ho our leading goalscorer......
If he starts scoring again they will disappear as per usual ......

...i have no issue with that if you were posting we should sell him a few months ago when he was at the top of his game.

i actually don’t recall any posters saying we should sell when he was the leagues leading scorer.

When you have a striker you hope scores rather than expect to, its game over.

Like any striker will have off form moments. Still disappointed in his performance today. Thought he could have caused them more problems. He needs competition and I have no idea why we brought in josh king? Can anyone let me know why we did.
